He made time for a quick turnaround job, the pricing was great, and they were actually able to get the work done, on inspection, within a few hours, as opposed to scheduling another appointment. Obviously, that should not always be the expectation, but great pricing, great communication and great service are their standard. Dan KI cannot speak highly enough for the level of professionalism and service that Brown Bear Electrical brought to our home. We needed around 80 feet of old exterior hot tub wiring and a breaker removed from a previous owner. The breaker on the panel needed to be switched out, and the circuit to an interior jacuzzi tub reconnected. This was a time-sensitive job, and the expectation set was that it could be done the following week. It ended up being completed same-day, and the pricing was transparent and more than reasonable. As a former contractor, things can be hit or miss with electrical contractors, or contractors in general, so if you have a need for a job done right with great pricing, Brown Bear is the place.Posted on Google
Marki CallawaySam and Nico were absolutely amazing! The scope of this project was much more involved than simply installing a new chandelier 20 feet up in a 20-foot-high entryway. They carefully removed the existing light fixture and relocated it over the dining nook table, which also required removing a 30-year-old fixture. In addition, they removed a 30-year-old track lighting system and installed new track pendants. Brow Bear Electrical was prompt, professional, and showed up exactly when they said they would. Sam and Nico were incredibly careful, patient, and respectful of our home throughout the entire project. And for a client whose OCD tendencies and engineering background can make her particularly difficult to please, they truly went the extra mile to make sure everything was spotless—and, most importantly, perfectly level. LOL! I highly, highly recommend Brow Bear Electrical. Sam and Nico did an outstanding job, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again!Posted on Google
Jeff KormanI called when we were having a sporadic tripping of a circuit. I called on Labor Day expecting to get a voicemail or answering service and was surprised when I got to speak directly to Sam. Sam spent time on the phone with me, listening to my situation and asking questions and providing feedback. Sam offered to come out and look at the problem but also gave me some free advice which ended up taking care of my issue. I would ABSOLUTELY call Sam again in the future to have him take care of an electrical problem and would recommend him to others as well. At other houses when I have needed an electrician or plumber - most won't talk to you without a service call and that means $$$ without any confirmed diagnosis or remedial steps. I appreciate the way Sam took the time to speak with me on the phone and you can tell he cares about customer service, not just a service charge. Sam and Nico recently completed a full 200-amp service upgrade at my home and installed a 100-amp subpanel in the garage alongside our new EV charger. Their craftsmanship was precise, and professional. The conduit runs and panel installations both inside the garage and on the exterior are incredibly neat and well-secured.
